It wasn't their home until they'd had their first dance in it, that was his reasoning at least as he swayed with her to that mysterious tune in his head that seemed to just always pop up when they were like this. A slow, old fashioned melody for dancing with a sweetheart before the world lost its mind and the troops shipped out the next morning.
Jason smiled a little more at the soft touch and sweet gesture of her hand as she offered to cook for him all the time. "I'm sure whatever you make already is leaps and bounds better than anything I've had, Pretty Flower. Don't go putting yourself out on my account or anything. I don't want to make you feel like you have to do anything for me because I'm happy just being able to be here with you." He explained as he leaned his forehead forwards to rest it upon hers and gaze into her warm, soft eyes.
