What had happened over the last couple of weeks had been insane. What he'd done had been insane. What they were doing right now was also insane but Jason had just stopped thinking about it and by the start of the week had made up his mind to just go along with it. With the madness and non-sense of what they were doing, of the whirling rush of emotions and chaos.
And as they got back to the new home, their new home, it didn't feel so crazy or sudden or stupid. When they walked inside, hand in hand, and Shion stepped away from him to twirl slowly around their new living room with it's few boxes and a new plastic covered couch, smiling happily as she claimed the house as theirs, Jason could only grin that bright school-boy grin of his as he leaned in the archway between it and the hall and watched her with a box of glass ware under his one arm.
Everything was right and how it should be. They were together and life was falling into place around them even if they didn't exactly have normal jobs. Seeing his Pretty Flower delighted and happy was the only important thing for the were-hyena though at what point that had become his sole mission in life, Jason wasn't sure. The one thing he did know was that this lie they had set up was rapidly becoming more of a truth to him than any other story he'd spun before. "It is. I'm glad you love the place so much." He answered as he set the box down on the floor by the wall then walked into the living room as well, "So which room first?"
