Clara giggled. "Yes, a very cool Fae, indeed," she agreed. She went to the cupboard to get them both tea before she started the water boiling. "No, I'll have tea as well." She smiled wide when he complemented her.
"And here I look at it more as a rescue than a purchasing. I mean, how were you supposed to know I could cook just by seeing me in a bookstore?" she questioned, fetching the whistling kettle off of the stove to poor into the tea cups.
Placing the cups down on the table before taking a seat, Clara looked at her Doctor sympathetically. She wasn't too sure herself if she would 'normally' go for a guy like him, because she felt it was luck that he even came to her rescue in the first place. If there was no system in play, Clara wasn't even sure how'd they meet in the first place.
"Hey now, don't go thinking like that," she said, taking his hand in hers. "Had we met and there was no system in play, I think we would have gotten along wonderfully." Clara kissed his hand before continuing, "You are a good man, and I wouldn't trade this life we have, the three of us, for anything in the world. Not even to have my degree finally awarded to me." Giving his hand a reassuring squeeze, Clara let his hand go to picked up a fork.
"Now, let's change the topic, and have some food, hmm?"
