Re: Godric and Eric and Damon
"Stefan took a bite out of another slave. He doesn't handle human blood very well. He goes through snaps - pun intended," he said, offering a pleasant smile. "I didn't know my friends were on the island when I got here. I thought about putting him with Eric, but Eric is more suited to me. Arik is a bit more zen." He trusted Eric with his life, and would trust him with Stefan, but Eric was also really close to Damon. Part of Damon didn't want to share.
Damon frowned, considering what Godric said. There were definitely laws among immortals against killing ancients. Damon would face death, if not in accordance with law, then by other ancients. However, Godric was an ancient himself, and they usually got a pass - or so he thought. He wasn't about to question it, at least not now. He did understand the need for revenge. "Well, here's to 150 years. Honestly, you don't look a day over 200, so it's a little strange to think of you as the Godric, maker of legend. If there is anything you want to know about me, just ask."
He walked to the door and opened it. "After you. Let's go get you chipped or whatever, even though at 2000 years, I'm pretty sure you aren't going to go suicidal, and I probably won't knock you up either." He flashed his impish, one sided smile one more time, just for good measure.
