It was all Beckett could do to keep her expression neutral as the vampire launched into a very descriptive explanation of what was essentially his alibi, not that she suspected him of being involved in the murders at that point. She stared blankly at him as he spoke, clearly as unamused as a person could be at hearing that level of graphic detail. He was obviously all too pleased with himself.
"Thank you, Mr. Northman. For that incredibly unnecessary level of detail," came her dry reply as she raised at eyebrow at him. His sexual escapades were either a source of pride for him or a deliberate attempt to be as much of a smartass as he could. Possibly both. She narrowed eyes at him slightly before continuing. "I'll be sure to tell the Captain that you couldn't have been responsible for the crime because you were too busy screwing half the island during the time window."
