Eric didn't tend to keep up too much with affairs that had nothing to do with him, and it was really no different with the rash of murders going around. He knew about them, but it wasn't his concern to do anything about it. There was probably some young vampire out there, eating its way through youths. It wouldn't be the first time, nor would it be the last in eternity. His kind always tended to have their own...preference. Where this one might enjoy children, Eric preferred adults, and often ones that consented, naked and in the throes of passion.
Even if the viking had nothing to do with the crimes, he'd play the part of the good citizen, so when a detective came to see him at the bar, he pulled himself from his work and went to speak with them. All it was, was lip service, but it was a nice surprise to see the detective waiting in the main room was...enticing, to say the least. Eric could hear the beating of her heart over the sound of the bar when he walked over to see the woman, lead along by his bartender that left as soon as the errand was ran.
Looking down at the woman, the blond gave her a smile, placing a hand on the bar and acting quite casual for a towering man standing there in a pair of black trousers and an equally dark tank that did nothing to conceal his toned form. People watched him, but Eric's eyes were all on her. "Good evening, Detective. What can I do to help you?"
