It was strange to be relied on so much already, but at the same time it just felt so natural. Shion knew exactly how scared he was by the way he held her, the way he tried to hold down his nervous giggles, the way his voice hitched. It broke her heart and all she wanted was to sooth him.
"Well then I think we've saved each other." She said as she slid one hand to cup his cheek. Her thumb ran gently over his cheekbone. "You're not stupid. You're smarter than you realize Jason. Smart, funny, charming and cunning. I want to be here with you." She was surprised to find out just how true those words were. She couldnt imagine leaving him now. How had he worked his way under her skin with only a couple weeks of moments, soft kisses and silly dates?
"Plus, it wasnt as if I didnt have my own messes before we met. You did have to rescue me from an auction house, anata." Shion gave him a tender smile.
