"I wish there was one of those laying around." She commented with an exasperated sigh and roll of her eyes, "The only things on the bookshelf I've found are science books. And as much fun as the history of physics is...Yeah, I'll pass." To say that there was light reading kicking around in Meru's room was a bit of a bit of a stretch to be sure.
"Oooh! Maybe some of that bluey-green stuff that's all soft. Give the place a pop of colour." Malia turned around a couple of times as she spoke and took in the full size before she crossed over more towards the middle, "Maybe a small stone one here? Circular, of course." She said as she gestured a line between where she stood and the door back into the house, "It's far enough away that there shouldn't be any smoke getting into the house, and no unhappy accidents with stray sparks either. We could put a couple of small curved benches around it here and here..."
She then indicated to spots between the wall of the building and her suggested place for the fireplace, "It would give shelter against our backs from any wind and still let us enjoy the fire comfortably." This was definitely Malia's element; Bella was brilliant with languages and cooking, and for her part, Malia could anything into a comfortable home and laundry was never cleaner or fresher smelling than once she was done with it. It wasn't an amazing talent but it had its uses.
