"Come along then, young man," Edward said after a nod of his head to Severin. "We'll get you properly sorted."
He held open the door for Sonny and escorted him through the mud room and into the kitchen. It was modern and bright, warm and friendly. Severin of course had no need of it, but he had a large human staff who did.
"Sit," he said, indicating the tall stools at the breakfast bar. "Do you have any preferences or any allergies that we should know about?" He went to the fridge and pulled out orange juice and poured Sonny a glass, setting it in front of him.
