The Hiddekel Island Auction House is where everyone that is picked out of the lottery goes. Although there are many auction houses all over the world, this is where the vast majority of the slaves on the island are kept.

Fresh from the lottery, slaves have been gathering here for a couple of days now. When they arrive they are subject to thorough medical examination to make certain they are healthy enough to be sold, then they are set up in barracks to wait for auction day.

Come auction day each slave is washed and given a fresh set of clothes. They are then put into viewing rooms in the morning; these rooms each contain a large one way mirror so interested buyers can peruse the stock in relative privacy. If any particular slave happens to perk a buyer's interest, the buyer can then enter the room and introduce themselves.

The auctions start in the afternoon and evening – for the vampires without daylight rings – and the starting bid is $5,000. Slaves are brought to a public stage and are sold only to the highest bidder. Afterward, the slave is then injected with a microchip implant containing their buyer's personal information (for identification purposes, of course.)
