Who: Abbey and Kenshin Where: Kahmr State Park When: Week 14, Thursday What: An ancient vampire has a random encounter with a runaway werewolf Rating: Probably nothing Status: Closed, In progress
Even though the vampire scarcely felt truly connected to nature, Kenshin still found that he loved it. It could be quiet or lively, and the sounds guided his thoughts instead of distracting him. He could recall training in such places with Shishou at a young age, and so a natural environment became something he associated with it. He was dressed in the haori and hakama that tended to make him stick out all the more, like some spectre from a past long forgotten by the majority of the world. His sakabatou was rested before him where he knelt in the middle of a clearing, eyes closed as the cold wind swept through his long, red hair.
His thoughts drifted to his own inner struggle, the struggle to constantly keep the Battousai locked up inside of himself. He would never kill again, and he would never give in to the primal urges that kept the hitokiri at bay. The closer he got to Sayuri, however, the more he feared that he would gladly lose himself to those urges when it came to protecting her life. He had nearly killed the second assassin sent for her, and that hadn't even been the most difficult battle he had faced since then. His vow to kill or his love for his mistress... Questions plagued his mind, in spite of his otherwise serene exterior.
