Aria was not prone to wandering far from her Captain. They stayed on a ship most of the time, which suited her fancy just fine since she was closer to her beloved water that way. However, when the young fae had time or opportunity to explore, she tended to do so. Mal was familiar to her now, and so it wasn't hard to find her way back to him when needed. He always thought so loudly, after all. Not that she could tell him so. She didn't expect he would be happy to know that she heard him sometimes whether she wanted to or not.
Walking down the streets of the city in a coat that was probably too big for her and a simple, pale blue dress, she found that she was enamored with it and surprised that it hadn't called to her sooner. Her legs were a little cold as she'd forgotten to wear tights, but it didn't bother her in the slightest bit. It was just all so bright! Whispers flitted about her slippery mind, guiding her in hushed tones until she found her feet planted firmly in front of what had to be some sort of palace. There was music inside and voices, lots of voices in addition to thought words. Her wide, blue eyes remained fixated on the place for several long moments before she decided to enter.
Indoors was an even more surreal experience, like something she might've dreamed up once. After all, she never dreamed the same dream twice. The people... it was like a sea of people, and they were all so lively and active and...
And loud. Long after she'd wandered into the midst of them, Aria found her head spinning. Some of them... the ones without thoughts were looking at her. Others were simply too caught up in whatever they were thinking or doing to notice the odd girl in the white dress who was too swiftly losing her footing and about to faint.
