Listening to her discuss her family made The Doctor grow annoyed at just the idea of the practice; he knew it existed, he felt it was more an Unseelie thing than Seelie, but yet it existed in both courts and of course it did; why wouldn't it? It was a political practice, a political institution, but it was one of the things the Doctor hated about both courts, one of the reasons he was regarded as an outcast in some circles, frowned upon, except his work in stopping the Master and helping there.
He was an ally, but one they didn't see eye to eye with; so he understood where she was coming from, that being said, he also knew she was far from a saint herself in those regards. So he just shook his head quietly at the comments, watching as she parted her legs just enough to make sure the Doctor noticed. Ah, was she trying to put his mind in a more open setting?
"No, of course not, you were just along for the ride right? Who was to blame you for having a little fun with an egomaniac that just wanted to test the limits of his ability to outsmart nearly everyone in government... you poor thing."
The Doctor's comment was dry at best, but then found his eyes following the trace of her fingers, the near reveal of a thing he had coveted before on many occasions, and cleared his throat before lifting his eyes up to her own and raising a brow, "Do you? Feel close to Faes here? I'm touched, truly I am, that you would include all of us in whatever quiet little diabolical scheme you're plotting. That, of course, you're not plotting..."
The Doctor's mind opened then, wondering just what was on her mind, with the way her hand moved, but then was surprised to find the image of the little girl there. Interesting, frowning a bit as he watched her with furrowed brow, his mind attempting different doors to try and circumvent the image, to find what connected it, "You're trying to seduce me Seraphina; what makes you think I'll even dare to succumb this time?"
