Christmas was one of the least enjoyable times of the year for Seraphina. It really wasn't so much because of the holiday itself, but that less people had always visited her establishments during it. The less clients that visited, the less money that she made. Granted, she was making quite a tidy sum, but some people wanted a discount for the months with holidays that were traditionally celebrated with their families. If they weren't using the club as frequently as they regularly did, they always felt entitled to a discount or refund for the days unused. It was frustrating, but supposedly a necessary evil.
What she needed to do was start garnering more business from fellow Fae, no matter the court they affiliated with. They didn't celebrate the Christian holidays since they weren't their holidays. Sadly, there didn't seem to be too many Fae on the small island and that was a problem. Seraphina would need to try and rectify that situation eventually, but for now her focus was on getting more patrons on a regular basis.
Sitting at the bar on the main floor, she had her legs crossed high at the knee and was sipping on a martini looking over some paperwork. If she wanted to fill Vlad's order in a timely manner, she was going to need to hit up a few auction houses and even then, she'd need to use her glamour and other aliases to get the job done. Hearing the secret knock of a prospective new client on the main door, she smiled to herself and slowly made her way to the entrance. When she got there, she slowly opened the door and was about to ask how she could help him when she realized who was on the other side.
