Pam rolled her eyes at the familiar scratch of the stool legs along the floor, signalling a new patron. It was a double edged sword, good business filling their back accounts but also forcing her to interact with the dreck of society. She forced a smile onto her face and turned. When she saw him, the smile didn't fade really, but her eyebrows did press inward slightly.
"Hello there," she said cautiously. His face looked slightly familiar and in the length of time she had been around, she had made several friends and far more enemies.
