Sayuri and Kenshin (after his meetup with Stefan)
Kenshin had spent more time that was perhaps necessary purchasing Sayuri's gift. So many of the charms and trinkets looked too fancy for his taste. He'd wanted something simple and pure, something that seemed peaceful but lovely all the same. Ultimately, with what little money he'd had that he had been allowed to keep, the swordsman settled on a lovely, silver necklace with a lotus blossom charm hanging from it. He could scarcely recall the last time he'd given someone a gift, but he wished to give Sayuri some small token of joy, something that perhaps would make her smile as she did him.
He found her sitting on a bench, easily tracking her scent. They looked odd in comparison, him in a simple, dark blue yukata as he was impervious to the cold. Nontheless he smiled, scratching the back of his head as he smiled at her.
"Has Sayuri-dono been enjoying the festivities?" he asked softly, taking a seat beside her as he gazed up at the stars for but a moment.
