The Nature Trail: Cat & Vlad | Dec 21st | Full Dark
Cat felt a bit wicked for having slipped from Scott's apartment. Alcuin hadn't been there, Scott was busy... it'd been easy to dress and be gone and off to the place he couldn't resist going to. The lights were a draw, pretty on the backdrop of the white snow. It drew him in. He'd seen it already, but wanted to again. And again. Last year he'd gone every day, but now... he felt guilty not going with his companions, but in the same token he didn't want to monopolize their time just to indulge in the lights.
He had on a layer look, with a henley and a band tee on over it, with his skinny jeans and boots, knitted black leg warmers pulled up to his knees for extra warmth. His black and pink cat ear hoodie was on beneath a black peacoat. Standard knit black gloved wit h pink fignerless over top and the paw print sleeve of the hoodie hooked into place around his thumbs, black infinity scar around his neck. Bundled warm, snuggled in good.
Brown eyes were large and shining with wonder and pure enjoyment over the lights, feeling a calm as his blue headphones hung about his neck, obscured by the scarf. Trans Siberian Orchestra played softly from them, a backdrop to the winter wonderland. It was cold and his breath fogged the air, but he couldn't bring himself to care how the cold may affect his body. Not right now, in this moment. It was a worry for later. Thin and small; petite. He was alone, but showed no sign of caring as he walked at his own slow pace.
