Alice's head snapped up the moment the door opened, trained enough in her two years not to jump like the scared, little school girl the creeps behind this place wanted her to look like. Though the man who entered towered over her physically, an intimidating sight to most people, the girl's mind was no longer trained to process the sight of him as "scary Supernatural who might buy me." Instead, her gaze was analytical as he walked closer, looking like she was almost sizing him up. What was he? Who was he? Obviously he had a height, reach and probable strength advantage. How should she respond to him so that he didn't know?
Alice's eyes narrowed unconsciously, and she tilted her head to one side. Her Watcher had tried to teach her how to size someone up without making it obvious that she was doing so, but the Slayer had always been beyond terrible at trying to pull the wool over anyone's eyes. Whenever she tried to lie, there was a lot sputtering and ridiculous word choices and over-the-top blabbering. Clearly she was processing how to answer him when he sat down.
"Bingo," she managed simply, her brain flailing to keep her mouth from moving further. And yet... "I mean inside of it, that is. I've been by. You know. In a car. Being all human and stuff, I've never been in to." She actually held her hands up in quotations. "'Browse.'"
