"That kiss didn't prove anything," she denied, shaking her head as she pressed her back against the wall. The wolf inside of her whined to be close to the other, a warning to Abbey that she definitely needed to stay away. In her fight to stay as human as possible the girl made sure to ignore the animal side of her.
But then he was kissing her again and she wanted nothing more than to melt into him. But she couldn't. Nothing could come of her time here, serving out her fathers sentence. With shaking hands she pushed him away again, shaking her head.
"Jake stop." She whispered out, her hand on his chest. "I can't...I wont. You won't get to know them. You'll never meet them. Once my fathers debt is payed I'm out of here. I'm going back home where I belong and I won't think twice about this place. So please just stop."
