He watched as Clara returned to baking and stirring and all of the lovely things she did to put together her masterpiece meals, and was about to step in to stop her immediately, when she suddenly stopped herself a moment, and took that sigh which indicated winning on his part. He smirked then listened to her as she spoke about Buffy, causing his brow to furrow and almost immediately he reached out to grab her hands, stopping her from stirring, and pulled them away, turning her to face him.
"Make a good impression on Buffy? Really? By cooking? Because you've already cooked for her, rather splendidly. I think a better way to befriend Buffy would to sit down and talk to her, find her interests, be, you know, chatty. I think hiding in a kitchen cooking all the time only puts the impression that oyu know how to cook on her."
