Willow bounded into the house, dragging a rather impressive sized tree behind her. A passer by would be impressed at how a young girl her size was able to get such a large item into the home. But she had a secret weapon that was her magic. Even though Giles had left with not so much as a goodbye, the witch still continued to practice on her own. She still had all of the books the watcher had let her take home from his store to learn from. It saddened her that the place would probably end up being closed down but there was really nothing more she could do about it. Besides it was the holidays and that meant happiness and cheer.
The witch had seemingly woken up one morning and had decided that the house needed to be Christmas-y. Not that she really knew Christmas-y considering that she was raised Jewish, but she figured she had seen enough movies to get the idea. So before the rays of dawn hit the sky, Willow was out of bed and out the door before anyone else in the house was up. She had gotten all sorts of decorations for the house and tree, lights for the outside, things to make gingerbread houses, even little houses to make a tiny little village on the mantle. She didn't really know what had come over her, but it seemed like a fun way to pass the time. Plus it was something she hoped that the others in the house would enjoy as well.
Finally getting the tree into the house, the redhead closed the door with a sigh of relief, shaking the snowflakes from her hair. She couldn't hear anything so she assumed that people were out or upstairs, doing their own things. She didn't want to bother them just yet. Reaching into one of the many bags, she pulled out one of the small items she bought for her own holiday celebrations. The Menorah wasn't anything fancy. She actually rather liked the simple design. It reminded her of her old home and of her parents. Taking the menorah and box of candles to one of the side tables in the living room, she cleared a space and set the object down with a small smile. She ended up lost in her own little world of memories, thinking about her family
