It took no time at all for Hunter to slide up into his own saddle, the worn leather creaking softly as he settled in. It had been awhile since he'd gone for a nice, long ride, and having his sister along side him was the only thing that could make it better.
"Ha," he called to the horse, giving the reigns a toss. The creature moved forward, finding its way toward the path that both horses had become accustomed to. The snow covered the ground and hung on the boughs of trees that they passed. Hunter didn't feel the cold, but he still preferred spring and would be happy when the snow was gone.
"If I talk about work, I could bore you so much you fall asleep and tip of the saddle," he laughed softly, as the two horses found their pace together.
"You telling me about your day is likely much more enjoyable."
