Hunter held his sister close and closed his eyes, remembering the look of happiness on her face. It wasn't a rare sight; Fawn was always the one to find the positive in anything and she seemed genuinely happy in their new home. Still, he loved each time he was able to bring a smile to her face. His hold on her lingered, longer than it should have, until finally he pulled away slightly.
"We should ride," he suggested with a teasing smile.
"Now. It's only the afternoon and most of the work around the house is done. I've already tacked up both of the horses, so if you won't I'll have been through a great bother."
