The first touch of the needle was always surprising. Most people imagined that it would be extremely painful, when most people said it felt more like a hard and deep scratch. It had been described as more annoying than painful by many a customer. When John shifted with the initial pain, Fanny was prepared and moved with him. Lifting the needle away for a moment, she looked up and met his eye. "Of course it's art to me. It should be art to everyone. And obviously I think it's the best kind of art."
Getting back to work, Fanny smiled at his next questions. They were definitely ones she had heard hundreds of times through the years. Thankfully for her, it never got boring or gave her aches. The last part probably had to do with her vampire abilities and strengths. "Nope. Rarely are any two tattoos that I do exactly the same. Almost all of them are just the tiniest bit different. Sometimes only a trained eye can tell the difference. It keeps it exciting for me. As for the working the entire time... my body can take long hours in the same position without getting tired. Definitely a perk to being a vampire tattoo artist."
