"Thanks," she said and popped out of the bench and followed Spike back. She left the door open to keep a lifeline, but she took a seat on the corner, shot in hand.
"Cheers," she said and tipped the sharp liquor back. She smacked her lips together and coughed, covering her mouth with the back of her wrist so not to look unladylike. It was how she was raised and those mannerisms wouldn't fade. "It's good," she said in a coarse voice.
"What's Passions?" Babydoll asked while silently lifting her empty glass, asking for another. This she could definitely do. That she could do. She hadn't been able to just sit in front of a television show for months. It was just what she needed for easy adjusting tonight. Spike was very solicitous to her, which gave him knight in shining armor points after all.
