Usually Cat was a pretty good sleeper when he wasn't sick, prone to not easily waking, especially if attached to another. Then he woke, and felt... well, odd. Odd for him. Because he felt energized in a way he hadn't ever experienced before on his own. Always it had been influenced by others.
Cat had untangled from Alcuin, pausing when he thought he saw a bit of tension in his friend. Concerned, he's smoothed fingers over the nephilim's brow and rose up from the bed, thinking to get Alcuin a bit of water before waking him. Perhaps he slept bad because of the dryness of the air? He returned after the brief trip to the kitchen, wide awake with a glass of water in his hand, instantly going to the now awake man in their shared bed.
"Alcuin, are you alright? You looked distressed, so I thought... well, that you might like some water..." he said lamely, setting the water aside before climbing into the bed and moving over to him, seeking out Alcuin's touch and reassurance. Worried about his friend; not noticing how much healthier he looked, how refreshed and energized... and human. Not as weak. Not as fragile.
