Human... being human was like sticking your head in cotton and shaking it around a few times. Every sense was dulled. She couldnt smell anyone near her, or hear when they were coming. More than once, Tas had walked up behind her and she had nearly panicked. The strangest part though was not feeling that side of her, that animal that laid within. She felt incomplete without it.
When Tas came up to her to place the poptarts, she jumped a little, but gave a small smile of thanks. Working was difficult. She was having a hard time focusing on the computer questions when her own mind was racing about how much long it would be like this.
Finishing the poptarts, she decided that work wasnt going to happen and threw an email at her boss that she'd be taking a couple days off due to the flu and instead went to sit by tas... or more aptly, sit on tas, curling in his lap.
