Carrick wrapped hi other arm lightly around russ' waist and laid a soft kiss on his bare shoulder.
"It's new to me too," he remarked, "It's been at least 25 centuries since I was human."
He had several types of soothing cream in his bathroom cabinet. He'd massaged it gently into Hermes skin often enough after he'd made the boy writhe and sob over his knee. The marks he had left on his lover's body were more severe than that, but it was all he could do to help give Russ some relief.
Carrick moved quickly to the bathroom cabinet and removed a jar of soothing ointment, the glass jar cold against his now-warm fingers.
"This might be easiest if you lie down," he said, unscrewing the lid. It might not help their wider situation, but treating Russ' hurts was at least something concrete to do.
