Having a bit of freedom had been nice. Actually, it wasn't so much the freedom Mac had enjoyed, but more so the availability to go shopping, complete with spending money that Jack had given her. It seemed to the wolf that her master wanted her out of the house, away from him as much as possible. Being able to shop and finally get some more clothes than those she had brought with her was nice, so was not having to sneak out of the house. But with her own inner conflicts brewing, Mac surprisingly wanted to be around the broodier than normal vampire.
Wearing one of her newest items, black, button up pajamas, Mac's shoulders barely jumped when Jack came to sit next to her on the piano bench. Moving over to give him more room, she finished what was in her head to play before Jack's tune overwhelmed what was her slower paced melody.
Mac stopped her playing, lightly pulling her hands from the keys, blue eyes studying her master's form as he played. She too didn't say a word, but rather basked in their mutual artistry.
