Ambrose had heard of the capture and then sale of Kenshin. It had hurt inside him. Someone as great as Kenshin should not be subjected to slavery in any form. It had been even more of a surprise to find the man was now residing on the island. Ambrose had tried to model his life after the other man he never wanted to hurt anyone ever again.
Ambrose would never think of himself as a coward but it took him a long time to get up the nerve to go an talk to his idol. That and he wanted to make sure Buffy would not go and confront anyone in his absent.
Driving up to Kenshin's master's home he was suddenly nervous. Had he just built this man up and woukd he not live up to it? Or would he be something even better.
He got out of the car and closed the door. The man had been in the courtyard of the home as Ambrose walked up. "Help would be much appreciated." He said, stopping before him. "My visit lies with you, Sir." He would always hold reverence for this man. The only man he might ever do that.
