Re: Auction Room: Michi & Karl
Once his competitor has left, a member of staff comes over to Karl with a pile of papers that he needs to sign. Karl pushes his glasses up his nose and goes right to it. Unlike many though, he won't sign anything he hasn't read, so he does check for anything strange in the paperwork. Of course, there shouldn't be. This is a high end auction house, the money going to the good of the community. So the chances for the paperwork to wrong is low if near none-existent. Hard to beat habits though. The prize for the fox was a bit higher than Karl had planned, but it wouldn't bankrupt him. So economically he'd be fine.
When Karl is done with his paperwork, the fox is already there. Held by another member of staff by the arm ready to be handed over to him. Handing back the paperwork with a nod, all signed and done, Karl gives a nod to the man holding on to his slave. "Thank you."
And then they're left alone. "What's your name?" Karl asks.
