Stefan gave a bit of a laugh. "You're not a lousy master. You're just...yourself. Besides, I don't really think there's a right way to being in the position you're in. Everyone's different." But he didn't set this up to talk about Arik and how he handled things. This was about Stefan and the truth coming out, as much as he wanted to keep it hidden out of fear of rejection. Honestly, he just wanted to tell Arik to forget about it, but he figured his master wouldn't quit until he got answers.
He sighed loudly. "Yeah, your...relationship with my brother has something to do with it, but it's really mostly just you." That was a crap way of explaining. Should he just be upfront? "Fuck," he cursed under his breath. "I feel...like I feel something for you. And it's not like things were with Damon or Oberyn or anyone else, so don't say that." Stefan glanced up into blue eyes, trying to gauge the doctor's reaction, but right away he felt like he should've kept his mouth shut, even if he didn't understand why.
