"My mother likes you too." It was Harriet Goyle who had chosen Hyacinth for her son, so of course she liked her. She loved little Gregory too and spoiled him any chance she got, whenver her husband gave her money.
Goyle summoned the elf and told him to go to the basement to get his toolbox. He then stood and went to the patio doors to let the dog in. It was an Alaskan Malamute named Bear, and Goyle kept him outside when he wasn't home. He was a very large dog and he didn't want there to be any accidents. He'd gotten the dog a few years before they were married.
Gregory loved that dog, so he giggled happily when he saw him. Goyle sat again and with Gregory in his lap, he let his son pet the dog's head.
