The day had been easy for Hyacinth. All Gregory wanted to do was sleep and that made it easy for Hyacinth to wrap the last things that she had bought for her family and for Goyle himself. She smiled as she put the bow on the last present. It had been hard on Hyacinth the last few weeks. At first she had just attributed Goyle's absences to work. She didn't know how his department worked but she was sure that it was hard on him to get home early.
After it while it did start to weight on her mind. Their marriage had been an arranged one and she didn't love him as she should but the thought had creepped into her mind that he might have had a lover before they married and he was going back to her. It did make Hyacinth feel insecure. Did she look pretty? Did she know more about the sex? Just then Gregory started to wake up and fuse.
She walked over to his play pen and picked him up. "Hush, little love." She looked up to see her husband entering. "Goyle." She smiled, it still felt weird to call him by his last name but she knew how much he hated his given name. "I am glad you did come home."
