PSP is really, really fun, and I'm in sort of the same boat as far as Sony's concerned. My solution has been to get everything second-hand from an independent party or revendor (like a used store) - someone else gave THEIR money to Sony, and I'm just giving money to THEM instead. It's cheap and cheaty but it allowed me to get the PS2, X7 and X8, and the PSP set with MMPU and MHX. ;)
