"Well that's a good way to live." She wasn't often for fights herself, but she'd had one or two when a bit too drunk. "I don't think the super physical like that is for me. Muggle zumba classes are hilariously fun, but I'd rather not come to blows or spells."
She wrinkled her nose at scifi books, not really knowing what to make of them. "Well at least you have somewhere to go. I'm no help; if I'm reading it's going to be magazines or something romancey," she said carelessly. That or the technical manual for new equipment for one of her jobs.
She opened her mouth and started to lift her hand briefly to protest that she had been planning to at least order a drink before she sat down, but she figured she could send him back in a minute while she massaged her head against the throbbing the crowd was causing. "Thanks," she said instead. She could feel his hand through her dress and it gave her a little thrill. In some circumstances it would have caused her to arch into him in a vaguely suggestive manner, but this was a pub and a bit of politeness to help the tiny woman through the crowd. Which she somewhat appreciated.
