Chuckling, Thad turned his body toward hers and ducked his head to brush a kiss against the corner of her jaw. "I'm sure I don't know what you mean," he said, putting on an air of exaggerated innocence. He didn't think he was weak by any means, but he also knew he wasn't the strongest bloke. Gavin could probably leave him in the dust when it came to feats of strength.
His fingertips danced down her back as she picked up one of the bats, and he grinned crookedly at her. "I think I know better than that by now," he said drolly. And then, he took a small step back to give her room to swing at the miniature bludgers. Try as he might, he couldn't help chuckling as she worked through her turn, though he would swear he was laughing at how fun it all was and not at her.
"Nice hit!" he declared with a whoop, pumping his fist in the air when one of her swings made contact with a mini bludger.
