The same day that Lucy had had her twins, just so happened to be the day that Kenzie’s father was welcoming his own son into the world. The world around Kenzie had never felt so small as it had that day, when she’d been in the hospital visiting both her step-mother, and one of her closest friends. Unfortunately, things hadn’t gone smoothie for Lucy, one of the twins hadn’t made it. Something that was still haunting Kenzie at night, the idea that Lucy had carried those babies inside of her for so long, only for one to never make it. It was heartbreaking, how could whatever Gods that were out there let it happen? She was still struggling early Saturday morning, and so she packed herself up, and made her way over to her father’s house. Maybe seeing them and her new brother would help make everything feel a little more right.

The messy twenty-something showed up via apparation into the entryway. She was dressed in a pair of boyfriend jeans that hugged those slender hips, and a simple black tank that exposed her midriff. Dark curls were pulled back into a large messy ponytail, a few tendrils slipping out here and there to frame her slender face.

“It’s just me!” she called out, though she was certain her father had already felt her tripping his wards. She wouldn’t have been surprised if he had some sort of magical gadget that warned him before any of his children just popped in.

Kenzie didn’t wait for a reply, she was already heading towards the sound of her family in the other room. She could tell someone else was there, just not who it was. She wondered if one of her siblings, or Jasper, had popped in to see the little bundle.

Kenzie stuck her tongue out at Hailey, laughing as she looked back to the babe. "Ken-zee," she whispered again, giggling softly as soon as she said it. She was certain if she just worked at it, that maybe Theseus would say Kenzie first. Maybe she should shorten her name, or find some sort of nickname.

Within moments she had legs propped up up on the table, infant laying there between her thighs, carefully playing with little fingers and toes. He couldn't do much just yet, still just laying there mostly. She enjoyed how small all of his little digits were, lightly squeezing each one with wonder. She definitely wanted one of these, eventually. Maybe twenty years from now. Maybe when she was closer to her father's age, she mused to herself.
