Hailey stuck her tongue out at her sister even as their father chuckled and curled an arm around his youngest daughter. She was sure that no matter how old she and Kenzie got, dad would never stop thinking of them as his little girls. It was nice, in a way she didn't want to admit, to be reminded of that.

"I will be doing badass things! I had a qualifier yesterday and another round this afternoon, but I just had to pop back in for some baby brother snuggles," she said, her voice going far more cutesy than she would ever admit on the last few words, and she gave the bundle in her arms a few gentle bounces. He was too young to really jostle and bounce yet, but he didn't seem to mind the little bit of movement.
