Wes chuckled softly, turning a bit to curl an arm around her shoulders as she hugged him. "It seems you did, but that's all right. I came by a little early to make coffee just in case you had forgotten," he assured her. He was utterly distracted by her wild curls for a moment, his hand coming up to brush them back away from her face where they'd stubbornly flown forward again.
"I've always quite enjoyed how easily distracted you can be," he told her. It wasn't as though Albie were special in that area. In fact, he was certain that if Scarlett would come to her senses, she'd beat them both at distracting Kenzie. "We have a bit of time, though, so if you decide you need more distractions this morning, there's no rush," he assured her.
