If anyone happened to come outside and find them just then, they'd have found both men behaving rather awkwardly. Scorpius figured there had to be something wrong with him, what in the world could he have been jealous about? He needed to smoke, clear that tight feeling from his chest. This was ridiculous, he decided. He held his hand out for the joint.

"We can try new clubs, expand our adventures when we go out?" Unless Albie didn't want him to go, he supposed. They always went together, it was always more fun that way. For a fleeting moment he debated offering to go that night, but he knew that was the jealousy speaking. He needed to smoke those feelings away, they were just best mates. Albie was just hot, everyone knew that. The way he'd given him that look earlier had just been a joke, Scorpius mentally scolded himself.

	This was stupid. Albie wished that he knew why this felt so weird, but he couldn't put his finger on it, the answer just out of his reach. "Always," was an automatic reply, he was ride or die for Albie. He'd do anything for the man. Even if everything felt so weird just then.

Scorpius was smart enough to shut himself up, bringing the joint to his lips to take a nice long drag. He needed that tightness to loosen, maybe he should slip back inside. Eyes fell to his sneakers as he blew out the smoke. "Probably a good idea, get out more," he told his shoes, just before taking a second long drag. That feeling in his chest was starting to loosen, see? It wasn't jealousy, he was sure of it. Maybe.

	"Yeah," Albie agreed, though everything in him still felt strangely stilted. "No point of breaking up to date around if I don't actually... date around." He licked his lips, for once not sure what he should say to his best friend. "Y'know, by now your dad's probably complaining that he's put his back out playing with Ori.
