Alexander closed his laptop. He could usually pour over the reports coming out of the Americas until the sun went down, but after a conference in Egypt and a ramped up training schedule he just couldn't look anymore. He picked up his mug with one hand grabbing for Holly's with the other. They'd both been working so hard and with their travel schedules it was nice to finally be back in the penthouse together.

"I'm thinking of a break." He said preparing them both a fresh cup. "The runes are starting to blur together." It seemed easy for him to close things down. There were other curse breakers working and they always compared notes. He wasn't taking over a multibillion dollar business. "What do you think? Cozy blanket and one of your favorite movies?"

"Whenever you want to retire from the swashbuckling, you can absolutely be my kept man, any day you like," she was joking, but she also meant it. Goodness - what if one day they wanted kids? Someone would have to give something up to be with them, right? But that was too far ahead to worry about.

"Mmmm... Spicy curry, yes please," and her stomach growled at the mere thought of her usual order. "And satay with the extra peanut sauce?" She asked him, her eyes big like a puppy. Not that he would deny her extra peanut sauce, which she knew.

She smiled up at him from his chest as he typed in their orders, peppering little kisses along the broad expanse every so often as he did. She was so happy, so perfectly content, that surely nothing in the world could shake them.
