In the time it took Alexander to make popcorn and grab the movies, Holly had changed into comfortable lingerie and draped a fleece blanket over her body. She lay on top of their duvet waiting for him and when he arrived and put the movie in she sat up, the blanket falling to her waist.
"Welcome back," she greeted him with a cheeky grin. She had missed him while he'd been off adventuring - okay, speaking at conferences about adventuring - but she supposed she now knew how he felt when she'd been off around the world for work, too. She really needed to learn a better balance, especially before she took over the company. Her father was 71 now - not elderly by Wizarding standards, of course, but still, not a young man.
"I miss you," she said, reaching out for him as he crossed the room to climb into bed.
