#01 - Beautiful Time had changed almost everything about them, inside and out as it always does in the space between adolescence and adulthood, still, each time he looked, Anubituf's eyes d were always the same; clear, red with the undercurrent of strength and to Guragief, their beauty was simply unmatched, today and forever.
#02 - Heart Anubituf reached up and wiped the tears that streamed from Guragief's eyes and despite knowing the odds that would face them both as men, he said softly, "It will be alright, my heart, you will see."
#03 - Smile On the deck two young girls faced each other in fervent conversation before another stormed off; above them, Guragief turned to Anubituf with an understated smile that was met in like kind for they both knew that the tempest of youth and remembered them well.
#04 - Feeling As often as he was told that it was a shame that he and Anubituf had both chosen to be male; Guragief could find no regrets for the feeling of standing beside the one he loved, day in and day out was one he would never give up.
#05 - Knowledge Tempus Spatium held more mysteries then truths, and yet, each time he looked into Guragief's eyes, he had the feeling of secret knowledge, as if his lover had never let go of the connection to god that they'd once shared as priestesses in their youth.
#06 - Ageless There were times, while sitting underneath that alter by Anubituf's side, he thought that perhaps love itself was ageless, for they and their lives had changed, but the feelings always remained the same.
#07 - Time Taking one long look back at the Arcus Prima, Guragief felt a tugging on his sleeve and turned to find Anubituf leading him away to a new life with the words, "It's time to go."
#08 - Desire As the simile craft landed on the deck and Anubituf climbed out, the crew met him in cheer while Guragief stood back and watched that slender form as it touched the deck and walked towards him; their eyes met and the air crackled between them with desire that would heat the both of them until night fell.
#09 - Dramatic In such a place of peace, he could find no peace with Anubituf there with things as they stood and with an out rushing sigh, Guragief snatched up his hat and dramatically walked away.
#10 - Subdued After all of the fear and tension of going to the spring, Guragief felt a subdued fear in his return to Anubituf's side for he was certain his pair would be disappointed in his choice.
#11 - Gold The Arcus Prima was just where they had left it, ruined now, covered in vines and tarnished beyond repair, but Guragief and Anubituf returned their often, if only to grasp the gold dust of the memories they'd made there in their hands once more.
#12 - Silver The color of the cross of outstretched wings that represented Tempus Spatium was silver, it shone like a beacon of hope upon Anubituf's bare chest and Guragief kissed it reverently where it lay.
#13 - Dark Anubituf knocked on the door before entering and was surprised to find it dark; that was before Guragief caught his wrist and led him directly into his lips, where he was quite pleased to stay.
#14 - Light Standing under the shadow of one of the arching windows of the Arcus Prima and watching as Guragief spoke to the sybillae, Anubituf fancied for a moment that he could kiss his lover's skin just as those rays of light did.
#15 - Twilight At the end of their shift, Guragief often invited Anubituf back to his rooms where they stood before the window, drinking tea and watching the sun dwindle to twilight while discussing the events of the day and basking in the comfort of the others presence.
#16 - Dawn Rays of opalescent light cast through a crack in the curtains fell over his peaceful face and he woke, rolling to drape his arm over the pale body next to his own and he snuggled close, burying his nose into chestnut hair, he returned to sleep.
#17 - Power The simile craft blazed a bold trail across the sky, trailed by five graceful simoun and a host of the enemy; they were outnumbered however Anubituf knew that both Guragief and the Arcus Prima were waiting to close the trap and that trust between just the two of them was all the power needed to defeat the enemies in their path.
#18 - Protect Frustration ground throughout his body as he stared across the table at the Defense Minister who'd pronounced the fate of all of Chor Tempest, but before he could speak, Anubituf at his side took his hands, schooling him to silence; leaving him only to trust that between the two of them, they'd be able to protect those girls.
#19 - Courage As Guragief gathered his thoughts and launched into a counter argument with the Defense Minister in defense of the sybillae of their command, Anubituf had to admire the courage that allowed him to stand up for what he believed was right, even when it wasn't wise to do so.
#20 - Faith Girlhood was the time for faith, when they had been priestess drawing their prayers upon the sky; and yet, Anubituf was always amazed that Guragief had never lost that subtle inner glow of belief.
#21 - Pray Kneeling before the altar of Tempus Spatium, Guragief's mind wandered to days long gone when prayer meant standing over the green gem of the simoun and meeting Anubituf's soft lips in a kiss in what was, to him, the highest form of love.
#22 - Intensity Stars bloomed before Guragief's blue eyes as he clasped Anubituf to him, their sweat slicked bodies molding into one as emotional and physical intensity become one, stealing away both his heart and his breath.
#23 - Cool The brushing was as cool and soft as a spring breeze and left Guragief raising a hand to his tinging lips, blushing in pleasure at the stolen kiss as he watched Anubituf striding away.
#24 - Warm Behind his desk, Guragief shuffled through papers, hand brushing the warmth of an unexpected mug of tea now sitting on a coaster and he looked up to see Anubituf holding another cup and smiling softly.
#25 - Whisper It was a common sight to see the captain lean up to his second in command and whisper something in his ear, none thought anything of it; little did they know that often times those words were sweet nothings that left Guragief hard pressed to hold his blushing inside.
#26 - Secret Anubituf read over the report again with a sinking heart and nodded, tight-lipped to the defense minister in acknowledgment of the secret which must be kept, knowing fully well the rift it would cause between himself and Guragief but pressed in a corner, his hands were tied.
#27 - Promise Moonlight highlighted the tips of Tempus Spatium's wings and the steps leading up to it, dusting over their heads as they sat on their knees facing each other, their hands linked with fingers laced and gazes locked; silent promises were shared before god.
#28 - Strength Sitting tall in his chair, Anubituf directed the ship with a subtle air of command that exuded strength and it was that very same aura that had drawn Guragief to him as girls.
#29 - Weakness Surely such love was a sin; yet each and every time that Guragief found himself in Anubituf's arms he could never bring himself to see their embrace as a weakness.
#30 - Love The words remained unspoken for the longest time, for both Anubituf and Guragief understood the feelings that lay between them and feared tarnishing their love, a thing of purity, with the sin that all other must surely view it.
#31 - Hate Gurageif hated the war and the lives it ate; Anubituf hated his lack of power to stop it, but both were resolved to do all that they could.
#32 - Silence Even the smallest sound from the bridge crew could be heard in the bitter silence that enveloped the room that day and everyone aboard knew that all was not well between Captain Anubituf and his second in command, Guragief.
#33 - Distress Burdened by the weight of the choice that he'd just made, the person now known as Guragief fell into the arms of his former pair and wept with all his heart; unable to see beyond his distress in the loss of his youth.
#34 - Fate On the day that they met, Anubituf could feel it was fate that they should be a pair, though she fought it for the longest time, which made their very first flight all the more sweet when it did occur.
#35 - Fortune The blue stones in Guragief's earrings were glass, holding no value at all, but to him they were worth a fortune for they were the first gift Anubituf ever gave him.
#36 - Nightmare Metal screeched as the simoun, burning and twisted, skidded to a halt on the deck just before the maintenance bay and as the crew scurried to extract the helpless sybillae within it, Guragief looked to Anubituf and wondered if this nightmare of a war would ever end.
#37 - Justice As two men, the most that they were allowed to be was friends and the only justice Guragief could find in that was in the moments when he stole into Anubituf's arms and told himself that surely this could not be against the will of Tempus Spatium.
#38 - Death There were times when other suggested that he might go his own way, but inside, Guragief knew that the only thing that could seperate him from Anubituf was death itself.
#39 - Moon Despite the frustration of not being able to really express their feelings by the light of day, Guragief always secretly felt as if there was something dreadfully romantic about clandestine meeting under the moon and each time he slipped off to meet Anubituf that way his heart was always thundering in his chest.
#40 - Sun With both hands balanced on the green gem of the simoun, Guragief leaned over the gem and her lips met against Anubituf's then then both in turn bend to kiss the gem, bringing it life while sun beat down upon their heads, blessing their prayer with light.
#41 - Star Standing side by side on the deck with faces upturned, Guragief traced ri majons using the stars as dots connecting into holy symbols with his finger while Anubituf watched on, their linked hands hidden by the folds of his cape.
#42 - Tower It wasn't fair, as girls Anubituf had been the taller of the two, but now, as men Guragief seemed to tower over him.
#43 - Stranger Since the peace treaty. every time he left their home to go shopping he felt like a stranger in a strange place; it wasn't that a lot
had changed, just enough to remind him that there homeland was no longer the free place it had once been.
#44 - Familiar "Good Morning, Guragief." Anubituf said from his chair without turning around the moment his Dux walked onto the bridge, knowing who it had been by the time for each and every one of his second's habits where as familiar to him as breathing.
#45 - Forgotten Guragief woke to find a bouquet of roses on his bedside table and he smiled, for in all the years of their relationship, never once had Anubituf forgotten their anniversary, even if it did slipped his own memory once or twice.
#46 - Memory Watching the girls today as they worked through the sweeps and dives of the manjuu pool brought Guragief memories of his own days as a sybillae when he did the same with Anubituf.
#47 - Change Hands clasped to his a chest that seemed more flat everyday as his breasts disappeared; Guragief brought his eyes up to the mirror and wondered at how he'd changed since choosing to be a man.
#48 - Color Guragief's favorite color had always been red for some reason, and after he met Anubituf, he wondered if it had simply been fate, because that was the very color of his lover's eyes.
#49 - Shadow Standing on the bridge of the Arcus Prima, Guragief stared out the window at the sky, aware of the man at his side simply by his energy alone while the deepening shadows of dusk heralded the end of another day.
#50 - Breath In the warmth of their bed, Anubituf watched the ceiling overhead with the faintest of smiles on his lips, listening to the soft whisper of Guragief's breath as it tickled over his shoulder before he too was lulled into sleep.
