Four Going Steady
Well, more like three. I iz tired, and can't write anymore.
Title: Something New Fandom: Buffy: The Vampire Slayer Five years Post Chosen Characters: Buffy and Willow (Friendship) Summary: Willow points out that Buffy has something she never had before. Notes: Nope, still not mine. And Sunnydale was not completely cratorized. It was taken down a bit, but easily rebuilt.
Willow looked up from her criminal psychology text as Buffy walked into the house. One look at her friend, and the red headed witch knew that her best friend had been out Slaying by herself all night. This made the fifth night in a row. Will closed her textbook. It was time to have a talk with the Slayer. "Buffy, you were out all night." It was a statement, not a question.
The Blonde turned, "Huh? Oh, hi Will. What are you doing up so early?"
"Wondering what you were doing up so late, and why you insist on going out at night. Alone." She got up and went to the Fridge. Pulling out some coke, she poured two glasses and handed one to Buffy. "It's been five years. Has it not sunk in yet? You're not alone anymore."
Buffy sighed. "I guess so."
"In other words, you don't trust them. Buffy, things have changed. These girls have had plenty of time to hone their skills. Look at Belle, Amanda, Vi, even Kennedy. They have all come so far. The can handle anything Faith can throw at them, and each of them has personally taken down Frankie, completely wolfed out, at least once."
"That doesn't count for Belle, she's been doing that since they could walk." Buffy pointed out. She sat down at the counter. "You're right. It's just...for eight years, it was just me. Sure there was Kendra and then Faith, but Kendra was only here for a bit, and Faith lost it for a bit.
"Now of all of a sudden, I'm not alone. There are hundreds, even thousands of Slayers around the world. I haven't even met all of them, though plenty of them seem to cycle through us. I'm not fighting the good fight all by myself with a handful of friends. I'm the Four star General in a war and half the troops don't know me by name or face." She looked up at her best friend. "I just...I've doing it so long, Will. I don't know what else to do."
Will smiled. "I thought you might be in a kind of a rut, so I took the liberty of sending your transcripts from High School and College, and this arrived yesterday." She scooted a letter from Wesleyan College in Connecticut. "Go on, open it. I promise, I didn't even hold it up to the light to try and read it."
Buffy gave Will an 'Are you serious?' look, but opened the letter. And nearly dropped it when she read it. "Will, this is a full ride. Did you mind whammy them or something."
Willow shook her head. "Nope. That's more of Amy's thing. I might have begged and since the whole Slayer thing is kinda out in the open, I might have dropped hints about what a big hero and how good it would look in the papers...but no mind whammies."
Buffy smiled as she hugged Willow across the table. “Thanks Will!” She gave a wry smile. “Now I just got to figure out what I should study.”
Title:Not the most romantic date Fandom: Buffy: the Vampire Slayer Five years Post Chosen Characters: Dawn and Frankie(romantic) Summary: Sometimes, it’s the unconventional that’s the most romantic date.
Dawn allowed Frankie to keep her eyes covered, although she hated surprises. And Dawn made sure that he knew that. “Frankie, will just tell me where we are going. This is getting ridiculous. I hate surprises.”
“Yes, baby, I know. You’ve only told me a half dozen times,” he laughed, his hands remaining firmly over her eyes. “We’re almost there. You might get in a few more times telling me how much you hate surprises by then.”
“If you ever want to get lucky again, you’ll shut up and remove your hands,” Dawn said.
Frankie smiled. “It’s cool, we’re here anyways.” He dropped his hands. “Ta-Da.”
“It’s…a movie theater. This is your big surprise?” She gave him a skeptical look. “Are you sure being dead didn’t frazzle your brains any?” She clapped her hand over her mouth, realizing too late that was not the right thing to say.
“That was se—five years ago, Dawnie. I’m pretty sure I’m fine in the head.” He held out two tickets. “Does this help? You mentioned you want to see the movie, so I got the tickets when they went on sale.”
Dawn smiled. “Sweeney Todd? You’re taking me on a date, to see a movie about a Barber who goes crazy and murders people? Isn’t that kinda unconventional?”
“Dawn, you’re a Watcher, I’m a werewolf. Since when have we been conventional?”
“Good point.” She handed the tickets to the usher and they went inside.
Title: A lot has happened since you died Fandom: Buffy: The Vampire Slayer Six months Post Chosen Characters: Frankie, Dawn and Belle (friendship mostly) Summary: Just a boy, his twin sister and his girlfriend sitting on a porch swing, catching up on old times. Notes: Can you guess, I bet you can. Belle and Frankie are originals, I don’t own Dawn or Sunnydale.
Frankie sat up once both girls were done squeezing him to death. He smirked. “So, can I actually get up this time, or are we going to go another round of you two pouncing me?”
Belle looked over at Dawn, and smirked. “I think we’re done for now. For now.” She stressed. She pulled him to his feet. Together, the three of them walked over to the porch and sat down. Belle threw her legs up over Frankie’s lap, and Dawn snuggled her head against Frankie’s shoulder. The boy werewolf was going nowhere. And that’s just the way he wanted it.
He put an arm around Dawn’s shoulders and rested the other on Belle’s knee. “Ok, so let’s try this again, shall we? Can you give me the scoop on what’s been going on since I died? The most I caught was that we won, Sunnydale got pretty trashed, and my twin sister is a Slayer. Which means she might finally take me down in a fight.”
Belle smacked her brother upside the head. “Be nice, or I won’t offer you a smokey treat.” She pulled one from her pack, and waved it just out of reach enticingly.
Dawn rolled her eyes. “I never thought the day would come when I thought Oz was the normal one.”
The Twins looked at Dawn. “What do you expect?” Frankie asked. “Our side of the family is all werewolves, minus Belle here, and she’s a Jr. Slayer.”
“That’s Baby Slayer.”
“How is that any better than Jr. Slayer?”
“Cause it is.”
Dawn rolled her eyes again, but smiled. After six months without Frankie, she didn’t care how much he and his sister teased each other. As long as she could lay there and here his heart beat. She felt lips touching gently on her hair. She looked up. “What?”
“Don’t think I forgot about you, Dawnie.” His eyes misted over a bit. “I just…” He sighed, moving his hand from Belle to wipe at his eyes. “It’s good to be home.”
Belle and Dawn sandwiched Frankie between them. “It’s good to have you home,” they said in unison.
“But if you ever die on us again, I’ll have Will send me after you to kick your scrawny werewolf butt.” Belle said.
Title: A Charlie Brown Christmas Fandom: Before Buffy: The Vampire Slayer Welcome to the Hellmouth Characters: Xander and Willow Summary: Willow always had to sneak over to Xander's to watch a Charlie Brown Christmas Notes: Ze Buffy. I do not owns them
Willow checked the time again. Seven thirty. Her parents would be out just leaving for one function or another. As if on cue, she heard the car start and Will rushed to the window. Sure enough, the car was pulling away. She waited until it had gone around the corner and she could no longer hear it. She pulled off her bathrobe she had thrown over her jeans and sweater, and grabbed her overnight bag. Her parents wouldn't be home until late morning, anyways.
She climbed out the window and crossed the alley to where her best friends would be waiting. The light was on in Xander's room, and she tapped lightly on the window to be let in.
Xander opened the window. "Come on, it's about to start!" He grabbed the bag she threw into the window and then he and Jesse pulled her into the room.
"Almost late as always, Will." Jesse pointed out.
"But it hasn't started yet?"
Xander shook his head. "Nope. You're in time to see it."
And the three friends settled down laying on a mound of pillows with popcorn and coke between them as A Charlie Brown Christmas started. And as tradition dictated. Xander did his interpretation of the Snoopy Dance. It was moments like these that convinced Will that nothing could ever come between the three of them.
