Yes, I saw that last week... not surprised by their 'General Counsels' response. One day they are going to stick the 'Child Porn/Paedophile' stigma on the wrong person and LJ/SA will implode from the resulting lawsuit.

In the meantime the next round of the BANHAMMER should be starting soon.

Yeah I haven't been paying much attention anymore. :P It came through on my GJ flist though so I thought I'd pass it on. I love the bit about slander and libel in thecaelum's response, not sure if the response gets passed on to 6A to get a comment back though so probably we won't get to see what they say about that. :(

I saw a reference to... obedientgirl or something like that? It seemed to imply she'd gotten banned for a het fanart. Anyone know? I'm so out of the loop now, lol.

I believe alongside the het fanart (which was a rape scene) there was also a naked, sexual picture of a girl who probably wasn't 18.

Supposedly 'Rachel' was handling all the BBB complaints... yeah right... I'm not sure what the deal is/was with obediantgirl. I keep my big toe in LJ to keep up with my flist there and to an ear out for what's going on. The comms 'Innocence_Jihad' etc. are quiet for now until the next time the ban hammer comes down.

I_J's likely to remain mostly silent; they went Friends Only a while back. Not sure how much good that does for a protest community, but that's them.

Hrm. I'm not sure if obedientgirl is the same person who was trolling a whole bunch of communities, posting porn images to them. If so, she may have gotten suspended for harassment. There was someone who did that recently and it set off a big stink because it was very deliberate trolling and harassment; if that was her, one of the images did appear to be of a barely-pubescent teenage girl, naked and displaying herself in a sexually-provocative manner. I know a crapload of people were furious about the intrusions into their community and filed TOS reports against her (if that was her) on every relevant charge they could think of, so if that was her, it's hard to say exactly which charge(s) got her suspended.
