Special days: New Years Eve partied in NM, woke up in CA. Black out Days (No show) - Wednesday 1/1, Arrival, set up. Friday 1/31, teardown. Promotion - Thursday 1/2, Small group goes into town to promote the carnival’s arrival before the show. Stock Days - Every Monday, Small group of Roustabouts go into town to get supplies. (Any ‘orders’ should be placed by Sunday night) Mass - Every Sunday, Reverend Conrad holds a small service Birthdays - Moon - Friday 1/10, Lunar eclipse (11am) and Full moon, Friday 1/24, New Moon (Effects start at nightfall, end at sun up) (If you have any special days we missed please comment. Birthdays, Anniversaries, etc?)
Plots: Throughout the month, on show days, small items will go missing from tents and wagons. Ties, combs, a shoe, etc nothing really of worth. A few days later (sometimes the next day, no more than a week later) the items show back up, but in a place they don't belong. This happens to everyone only once.
Important world happenings: January 16th - Prohibition In the headlines - More and more people rounded up in the Red Scare as suspected communists. Thousands held without trial. January 10th - Treaty of Versailles takes effect.
