Who: Killian and Koty

Killian hated taking medicine. He didn't care if it was aspirin for a headache or the stuff that Doctor Death injected him with every day and night, he still loathed it and with very good reason. Doctor Bishop gave him all sorts of experimental drugs just to see what they did, treatments that had passed lab rat tests but needed more human subjects, and anything else he may feel like pumping into his blood stream just for fun.

For a long time, since Kian Travers had managed to kidnap those group of teenagers from the school, Killian had been given a very steady stream of drugs that seemed to be the same stuff every time. He recognized some of it, or at least he thought he did. The effects the drugs had on him were similar to the ones that he'd been given at the hospital before he'd been adopted by Stargate. They made everything slow and left him passive and heavy feeling and he didn't like them. Just when he'd started to get used to the effects though, Doctor Death had decided to switch to new stuff, drugs that messed with his head and made him think of all sorts of things that seemed like memories save for the fact that he didn't remember any of them before he'd been injected.

Their effects always slowed down a few hours before the doctor was set to drug him again and in order to escape having to receive his medicine, Killian decided it was time to try a plan. He was going to spend the night in Koty's room!

It hadn't occurred to him that Doctor Bishop would probably go there next once he realized Killian wasn't in his room, it just seemed like a brilliant plan for evasion that would never be discovered. He knocked on Koty's door merrily, humming in honor of his own brilliance. "Koooooty!"

Koty was in his room, so Killian was lucky there. He was lying on the floor, in fact, with his head under the bed, trying to locate a guitar book which he was sure had slipped under there. Either that, or it had grown legs and wandered off, or been carried away by dust bunnies. Also possibilities, given that his room was in a bit of disarray.

At first he didn't hear Killian's knock, because of the bed over his head, but he definitely heard his voice. Shimmying back on his stomach, he pushed himself out from under the bed, to his hands and knees, and then into a standing position.

"Coming!" he announced as he dusted himself off, little pieces of lint and dust clinging to the long-sleeved black shirt he wore, which came down to points over the back of his hands. He padded across the room and pulled open his door.

"hi!"

"Hi!" Killian chirped and then a second later covered his mouth with both of his hands and started laughing. "Were you in the vents?" He asked excitedly as he pushed his way into the room with him and pushed the door closed with his foot. "I look like that when I come out of the vents!" He looked a little bit like an old man, dust in his hair and a little ball of it caught in the dark strands. "I want to play too!"

Koty grinned and shook his head a little bit. "No. I haven't been up in the vents in ages." He used to practice getting in and out - because sometimes he had to do that on missions on account of being so small.

"I was trying to find something under the bed!" he explained, and pointed to his bed, incase Killian couldn't figure out where it was. "My floor's dusty."

	"What did you lose under your bed?" Usually when things disappeared under there they were relatively easy to find since there wasn't really any place to hide. 	"No?" Koty guessed, because he would be awfully surprised if he found a tennis shoe under there, since Koty didn't own any shoes like that. "It was a guitar book. Of songs," he said, crouching down to his knees to watch Killian wiggle his way under the bed. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"A book?" He proclaimed and stretched for a balled up t-shirt and tossed it towards the middle of the room which was coincidentally right in Koty's direction. "Not a t-shirt?" (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"No? Well..." Koty ducked as a t-shirt came flying his way. "Maybe a t-shirt too. There's probably a lot of stuff under there." Koty had a tendancy to leave things on the floor, and naturally those things eventually ended up under the bed sometimes. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"Magazine!" He called and tossed it too and then pushed out more clothes before he'd cleared a little space. Rolling over onto his back he sighed. "It's messy under here!" It would make a very good hiding spot. Catching a glimpse of something above his head he twisted around, reaching up, and came back with a book. He held it out to him. "Is this it?" 	"Huh," Koty said as he snatched up the magazine and eyed the cover. The cover date was from over a year ago. "I never did finish reading this," he mused, but it was old news, and so he tossed it under his shoulder. 	"Oooh." Well that made much more sense than what he'd been thinking. "Music language," something he definitely couldn't read...which was alright, really. 	Koty had never thought of it like that before, but his face lit up. "Yes! Exactly like that," he agreed with a quick bobbing nod of his head. "That's a great way to describe it." 	"Okay!" He pulled himself up knowing that pajamas weren't really necessary since he slept in his clothes a lot of the time but he also knew there was a box of cupcakes on the top shelf of his cupboard that would definitely help pass the night! "Okay!" Koty echoed, and once Killian was gone, he scrambled around to get things. He ran down to the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of pop and two bags of chips - one of chips, one of cheesies. And then went back to the room and set them down on the table.

Then he changed into a pair or pajamas he did have, black pajama pants and a top with silver lightening bolts all over them.

Killian changed just for the sake of things, dressing in a t-shirt and a pair of boxers since the only pants he had that weren't jeans were of the scrub variety and he didn't want to think anything medical that evening. With his cupcakes in toe he made his way quickly back to Koty's room, the floor cold on his bare feet. "Lemme in, lemme in!" He whined before pushing open the door and letting himself in.

	Koty was halfway to the door and laughed. "You didn't need me to let you in!" he said and then he went to the kitchen to get some glasses to drink out of. "I brought chips and pop!" he called out before he emerged again, going over to the bed. He grabbed the bottle of pop and twisted the cap off, releasing the carbonation, and poured them each a tall glass. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Holding the soda between his feet so he wouldn't knock it over, Killian set about to peeling the frosting top off of the cupcake, which was also where he started to eat it, leaving the bottom half with the cream for later.
