The doctor had had a few more tests ahead of him, tests he wanted to run in private, when he'd asked Gunner to go ahead back to their room and make them something to eat. He'd be up in a moment, he promised, and in the mean time, Gunner could get dinner ready, something special just for the two of them. He wasn't sure what he was going to walk in on when he stepped out of the elevator and headed for his room, but there was a high likelihood he wouldn't come in on anything out of the ordinary. Ever since he had finally given in to Gunner's incessant begging, a lot of his crazy shenanigans had come to a halt. Just in case, the doctor knocked lightly on the door before pushing it open. "I'm finished," he called, dropping his keys on the table by the door and shutting it behind him.

He wore a small smile as he let himself into their room. "I need a beer and maybe a Valium to unwind. You don't happen to have either of those things do you?"

Gunner was in the kitchen, dressed in skinny black jeans, a black hoody with a skull print and an apron. He was cooking chicken parmesean, a recpie he had looked up, which was going surprisingly well. His cooking skills had increased over the last several months. He didn't tend to burn as much anymore, and things usually turned out. It was finishing up cooking, and there was bread toasting in the oven.

"Hello!" he called out when he heard the Doctor, and stopped the humming he had been doing and smiled in his skewed way. "I think there's beer in the fridge! And don't you have pills in the medicine cabinet?" There were lots of little bottles in there.

"But all of that is so far away." The doctor complained but followed the sound of Gunner's voice and his nose to the kitchen. His blue eyes swept over his assistant's body and it made him smile. He didn't understand teenager's fashion, knew he would never be caught wearing anything like that when he was Gunner's age. "Can't you get it for me?" He put his hands on Gunner's hips though, rubbing over them and down his backside before he stepped aside and opened the refrigerator. "What's for dinner?"

Gunner tipped his head back to smile up at him, leaning back against his chest briefly. "But you're right there," he pointed out as the Doctor went over to the fridge. He checked on the chicken and then closed the oven door again.

"Chicken parmesean and garlic bread," he replied as he went to the cupboards and got down some plates and then dug flatware out of the drawer. "I think it's going to be pretty good."

	"Have you been watching Food TV again?" He asked and found a beer, twisting the cap off and tossing it onto the counter. Taking a drink, he tasted the malt and shook his head. "A bit!" Gunner admitted with a laugh as he fussed around the kitchen, getting things ready. He poured some juice for himself. "There's an awful lot of good food on that channel. Especially all the desserts." He opened the oven again, this time to pull out the pan, setting it down on the stove top. He took a spatula and scooped some out onto the plates, and then took some toast as well. "Okay, ready!"

	"I hadn't thought about it!" Gunner replied as he brought the plates over to the table. He sat down as well. "Maybe Three should name it?" Didn't mothers usually do that? 	"And call it Fourty Three?" Gunner asked with a grin. "Or Thirty Four." He did sort of like numbers as a name. "Or Seven." Seven was a good name! He liked that. "It could work for a boy or a girl.
