It had been a busy Tuesday for Ashley, and probably for Ryder too given the connection that they shared. He'd had to go to school, his new school, to register for his classes. There were a lot of students on his campus, more than he had thought, and surprisingly enough there were even some girls! He'd signed up, wandered around the campus a little bit, but Ryder wasn't there so he wasn't as social as he would have been otherwise and he didn't make any new friends, not right away.

When he came home he was glad because he was sure that was where Ryder was. He pushed open the door, tossing the car keys onto a table by the door and called out to him. "Get out here!" He wanted to tell him about his day, show him his class schedule.

Ryder was in the bathroom when Ashley returned, having gotten out of the shower moments before. He had spent the day working at the comic book shop, as he didn't have to register for classes for another week and a bit.

He heard Ashley's voice through the door and smiled, the smile he always had when his twin was concerned. He hurridly finished drying and tugged on jeans and a plain blue worn t-shirt, and emerged from the bathroom.

"How was it?" he asked with a grin as he padded on barefeet out to find his brother.

	"Pretty awesome." He answered, ignoring the way it upset him that they would be going to different schools. It would the first time in...well, the first time period. They'd never been separate like that. He pushed off the negative thoughts with a smile and hugged him quickly. "I got a copy of my schedule. We can coordinate." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Ryder hugged him extra tight, catching that stray thought. He turned his head into Ashley's neck and smiled. We'll never be apart, Lele. Not us. Not when they were connected mentally. It would be weird, to be at different schools, but they would have all the rest of their time together.

"Let's see it. I'll make a copy and take it with me when I go to register."

	"Pizza." It was always an option. Ashley would eat all the pizza until it was gone and then move on to other options, it didn't matter if he had it for breakfast lunch and dinner. 	Ryder flicked on the oven to preheat and then went to the freezer and pulled out a frozen Meat Lovers pizza. He turned and shot a coy look over his shoulder. "Maybe," he replied innocently, while sending Ashley a mental of image of exactly what he had been doing in the shower. Which turned that 'maybe' into a 'definitely'. 	"Sorry. But I couldn't help it! My mind wandered and then it was just too late!" Ryder peeled the plastic wrap off the frozen pizza when it came out of the box, and then stuck it in the oven, right on the rack. And like you wouldn't do the same, he added, seamlessly picking up their conversation mentally where it had left off verbally. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Yes, that too. Add that to what I said, Ryder replied with a mental laugh as he got silverware from the drawer. He was falling into being domestic rather well, and didn't even mind it. In fact, he found that he liked the cooking part. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"Are you kidding?" He laughed. "It's pizza, Ryder, you have to have coke with pizza, it's like, a law!" He tugged on some pants and a t-shirt and then went out to meet him in the kitchen. 	Ryder followed him over and settled down at the table. He took a smaller bite of one of his slices, blowing cooling air on it first so he wouldn't burn the roof of his mouth.
